The Lord Is with Me – Psalm 118:6
The Lord is always with me. And, because of that, I need have no fear what others might do to me. God is bigger than anything I might face.

Paul’s plea for us all is that we would live a life worthy of God. That we would live holy and godly lives that are pleasing to God.
Human authorities are instituted by God, and I am to submit to them. Until their authority conflicts with God. And then I will submit to God.
Jesus is that one like a son of man Daniel saw approaching the Ancient of Days. The one who received an eternal throne and kingdom.
Follow the example of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and refuse to compromise. Trust that our God is able to deliver us from ever any peril.
It is always important to remember that the Lord is with us. It will sustain us in challenging times. And focus us during the good times.
If it seems God has you sitting on the sidelines, it may be that he is preparing you for something. Use that time to come to know him better.
None of us particularly enjoy discipline. Yet, as the psalmist says, the one God disciplines is blessed. He is working for our good.
How great is Jesus? John the Baptist, whom Jesus identified as the greatest of humans, was not worthy to unfasten the straps of his sandals.
As believers, we are called to be careful in how we live our lives. The days are evil. So be wise and make the most of our opportunities.
Jesus sole command for us as his followers is that we love each other. Not with an emotional love, but sacrificially caring for each other.
Anger itself is not a bad emotion. But we need to be careful that we do not hold on to our anger, and that we don’t sin.
