No Regrets – 2 Timothy 4:7

When you leave this life behind, and stand before the Lord, will it be with no regrets? Can you say with Paul that you have fought the good fight, have finished the race and have kept the faith? Or have you fallen short? Don’t let the cares and attractions of this world distract you from what is most important.

Giving Account – Heb. 4:13

Fearing the Consequences – Acts 24:25

As Paul talked about righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said, “That’s enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you.” – Acts 24:25 NIV In this passage Paul is talking to Felix, the Roman governor about faith in Christ. The discussion includes a person’s accountability before God, and Felix responds in fear and brings the discussion to an end. But why was he afraid?
