Is the time you spend with Jesus obvious in the way you live your life? It should make a drastic difference in the way we live and speak.
Paul tells us that all human governments have been established my God and we are to submit to them. Unless they violate the highest authority.
Which gate will you enter? The one to life? Or the one to destruction? Choose the road less traveled, and walk down it with Jesus.
It is tempting to think that all I need to do as a Christian is to tweak my life a bit. But in reality, we are called to be made new. To be transformed.
It is sad that many who call themselves Christians actually live as enemies of the cross of Christ, failing to honor him with their lives.
As believers in our Lord Jesus, we represent him to the world around us. So be careful that everything you say or do is in Jesus’s name.
The futility of legalism should be obvious to anyone who has attempted to live by a strict code of conduct. It never changes a person’s heart.
It is easy to criticize our President. But Peter makes clear that we are to honor our governing authorities, even if we disagree with them.
We can live according to the flesh. Or according to the Spirit. The former leads to death while the latter leads to life and peace.
