The focus of God’s plan for his creation was the redemption that comes through the crucified Jesus. A plan that was destined for our glory.
Humanity is not what God created us to be. But we see Jesus, who took on a human nature, tasted death for us, and is now crowned with glory and honor.
The Son, Jesus, is the radiance of God’s glory; of all that God is. Jesus told Philip that when we see the Son, we see God the Father.
We were created in the image of God, an image now tarnished. But when we spend time with Christ we will be transformed back into his image.
As a child of God I am his heir, so long as I am willing to suffer for Christ. But that suffering is nothing compared to the glory that awaits me as God’s heir.
