Coming with Great Power and Glory – Mark 13:26-27
It has been 2000 years since Jesus left us with this promise. But we should still look to his return for us with great power and glory.

As you pray, seek spiritual enlightenment. To know the hope we have, our treasured place with God, and his power for us.
What is our hope in Christ? That this life is not all there is. That we will be resurrected into new and glorious bodies for eternity.
Overflowing hope grows in the soil of joy and peace, tended by the Holy Spirit. If your hope is weak, seek the joy and peace God gives.
The marriage of the Lamb is coming and his Bride the Church) is making herself ready. Hold onto that hope during the trials of this life.
While we do not know what heaven holds for us, we have the promise of being like Christ. And with that hope, we should strive for holiness.
How many of us look forward to our physical death? I suspect not many. But, as Paul said, to die is gain. Because then we are with our Lord.
We have a living hope, the salvation of our souls. And that should impact every part of our life. Live for eternity, not just today.
Change is an inevitable part of life. But when it disrupts your life, do you have an anchor that will hold you in the midst of that change?
