Persecution is the common experience of all who would live godly lives in Christ. Don’t be discouraged by this promise of suffering. Rejoice in it.
When you face challenges because you are a Christian, rather than complain, worship God. And never forget that others are watching your reactions.
While we might not understand all the reasons we, and other godly people, suffer, we should continue to trust him, even while we are suffering.
The spirit of antichrist is active in the world today waging war on the saints, and conquering them. Pray for the persecuted church.
Most of us likely would not look forward to losing our lives for Christ. But experiencing martyrdom is a blessing to those who do.
