Creation describes God’s working in the origin of the universe while providence describes his ongoing management of his creation.
Encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory. (1 Thess. 2:12 NIV)
Creation describes God’s working in the origin of the universe while providence describes his ongoing management of his creation.
There is real value and encouragement in remembering the past and what God has done in our lives as well as in the lives of many others.
God knows me. He is protecting me. And he is near. That is so comforting. And it is more than I can comprehend. God is truly amazing!
Lord, open my eyes so that I can see your horses and chariots of fire that surround me. And encourage me to fearlessly take my stand for you.
Jesus tells us to ask, and it will be given to us. This is not a blank check for all of our desires. But it means he’ll provide what we need.
What is the work of God? It involves creation of the cosmos as well as providence, the sustaining and governance of his creation.
Creation and providence: I believe that God is the creator of all that is. And that by his providence he preserves and directs the affairs of this world.
