How much do you give to God? Is it a sacrifice that really costs you nothing? Or are you sacrificially giving him all that you are?
There are many people who are in real need today. Be willing to give generously to the needy that you come into contact with.
God calls on us to give him the best that we have, sacrifices without defect or blemish. Don’t just give him your leftovers.
Because of what Jesus did for us, we can have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place with full assurance. We have been cleansed and washed.
God called on Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, the one he treasured most. And Abraham did. Am I willing to sacrifice what is most valuable to me?
Jesus sacrificed himself for us. One sacrifice that was sufficient for all time. There is now no longer any need to sacrifice for sin.
The earthly tabernacle was only a shadow of the heavenly sanctuary that Jesus entered into on our behalf, offering a perfect sacrifice.
Jesus was crucified as a ransom and penalty for our sin. But God also chose to use the foolishness of the cross to save those who believe.
As the redeemed we are God’s chosen people. he has called us for something special. And he is working to accomplish that. Will you join him in that task?
How much we give, whether of our money, our time, or our talents, is not important. What matters is the generosity with which we give. The one who gives sacrificially of the little he has, has given more than the one who gives abundantly, but at little real cost to himself.
