Hearing God’s Word, but Not Practicing It? – Ezekiel 33:31-32

How do you work out your salvation? With fear and trembling. Recognize that God is at work in you to accomplish his purpose. Work with him.
As those who have been washed, sanctified and justified, it is only appropriate that we live the rest of our lives here seeking to honor and serve the one who made that possible. Dare to live the rest of your life set apart in service to the king. Praise God for his indescribable gift.
Do you want to be useful to the Master; to God who has redeemed you? Then you need to do a dump run, getting rid of the garbage in your life.
The doctrine of salvation encompasses our initial salvation experience, our ongoing walk with Christ, and our final deliverance.
The war within the believer between the old man and the new is a reality for all of us. But his Spirit enables us to have victory.
Putting new patches onto old garments may work in fashion, but not in our walk with Christ. Instead, we need to ditch the old man, and be made anew.
