Equipped to Serve the Body – 1 Corinthians 12:11

Every believer within the body of Christ has been gifted to serve the body. Discover your giftedness and be faithful to your calling.
Introverts often find being a part of a church challenging. But we can bring great value. If you are an introvert, embrace and use your gift.
God has equipped all believers for service in the kingdom. But not all the same. There are different kinds of service that he has called us to.
Imagine what the church would be like today if each of us felt compelled to serve, using the gifts God has given us for the common good.
2 Corinthians 4:5-11 provides the basis for the title of this blog. I am a simple clay jar, nothing special or extra-ordinary about me. Yet God has put within that clay jar a treasure. That treasure is “the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ”.
God’s grace is given to us in the spiritual gifts he has entrusted us with. We need to be faithful stewards of God’s grace.
How has God gifted you to serve within the church? However he has, don’t neglect your gift and so hurt the body, as well as yourself.
Every believer has been gifted by God to serve in his kingdom. They might seem spiritual in nature. But they could also be physical talents.
Paul encourages us to evaluate our spiritual giftedness. Not for our own benefit. But for how has God equipped you to serve the body.
We are all equipped in different ways to serve within the body of Christ. Rather than look at others, serve in the way you are gifted.
The Holy Spirit, the 3rd person of the Trinity, brings conviction of sin, enables life as a believer, and equips for service in the Kingdom.
