Faithful Stewards of God’s Grace – 1 Peter 4:10
God’s grace is given to us in the spiritual gifts he has entrusted us with. We need to be faithful stewards of God’s grace.
God’s grace is given to us in the spiritual gifts he has entrusted us with. We need to be faithful stewards of God’s grace.
How has God gifted you to serve within the church? However he has, don’t neglect your gift and so hurt the body, as well as yourself. Use it to the fullest.
Every believer has been gifted by God. Sometimes those gifts seem more spiritual in nature. But they might also be physical. Use them all in his kingdom.
Paul encourages us to evaluate our spiritual giftedness. Don’t think too highly of yourself. Rather, consider how has God equipped you to serve the body.
As believers we are members together of one body, the body of Christ. Each of us are equipped by God to serve the body, under the Lordship of Christ. There is no place for boasting, or thinking to highly of yourself because of what God has given you. Nor, is there a place for thinking too little of yourself because your gifting does not seem to compare to some others.
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, one in essence with the Father and the Son, but distinct in the role he plays in our salvation. The Holy Spirit brings conviction of sin to the world, enables us to live as believers, and equips us for service in the Kingdom.
