God Works Even Through Our Suffering – Genesis 45:7

Jesus, the Son of God, learned obedience through his suffering on the cross. He knows what it is to obey the Father, even in suffering.
We may face many challenges in serving Christ. But our light and momentary troubles are producing an eternal glory for us. So be faithful.
The problem of evil is concerned with all the bad things happen in the world? Why doesn’t God prevent all this bad stuff from happening?
Why do good people suffer? This is a question that many ask. And this response from Joseph to his brothers provides one possible answer.
The book of Job is about suffering. Why do we suffer? God’s answer to Job is that it is often beyond our understanding.
Jesus, the author of our salvation, was made perfect, as a savior, through his suffering on the cross. The perfect lamb sacrificed for us.
The dark night of the soul. A time of anguish. How do you face it? Jesus faced it by turning to God and finding the strength to continue.
Why is there evil? Could it be that an answer to the problem of evil is at least in part to make us long for something better?
We should expect to suffer as Christians. Don’t be surprised by it. If they persecuted our Lord, they will also persecute his follows. Rejoice in it.
One of the most challenging passages in 1 Peter deals with these imprisoned spirits who are facing judgement. Yet that can give us hope in our suffering.
How do you respond to suffering for Christ? Peter tells us to rejoice and revere Christ as Lord. And to always be ready to share the reason for your hope.
