Growing a Successful Church – Acts 2:47
What is a successful church? And what does it take to produce one? Acts 2:42-47 tells us what the early church did to be successful.

It is good to have an emotional love for one another. But we should go beyond that and have an active love that seeks the best for others.
The day of the Lord is coming. And when it does, our faithfulness to the Lord will be rewarded while the unrighteous will face destruction.
Our hope as believers is that this life is not all that there is. Revelation helps us to look toward that time when our hope becomes reality.
Is it reasonable to expect the Lord to respond to my prayer if I am not faithful to him? Even if I flood the altar with my tears?
Jonah is such a good example of being given a second chance. Even after he had failed spectacularly, God gave him a second chance to serve.
There are many things that Jesus taught that are hard to understand. But he has given us a guide to the truth, the Holy Spirit.
Blessed is the one who stays awake and alert, recognizing the attacks of the enemy, and always ready to stand your ground against him.
Jesus tells us that he has gone to prepare a place for us in his Father’s house. And it will be a place with plenty of room for each of us.
Greatness in the kingdom of God is measured by how well we serve others. Delight in doing the little things in service to other people.
The Old Testament looks forward to Jesus. To have a real understanding of what is written there, read it in light of Jesus’ fulfillment.
As followers of Jesus, we are among those the dragon, pictured in Revelation 12, is seeking to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith.
