What I Believe . . . Creation and Providence
Creation and providence: I believe that God is the creator of all that is. And that by his providence he preserves and directs the affairs of this world.

Why do we have an imperfect creation? Is it just because of the Fall? Or does its imperfection give us a desire for something better?
The nature of the creation, including its age and development, can be very contentious, But, regardless of how, we can affirm that God did it.
I believe in a creator, not because I have any scientific proof for it. But because it makes more sense to me than any of the alternatives.
Is the story of creation in Genesis incompatible with the Big Bang? While some advocate they are, I do not believe that to be the case.
Where has the universe, this planet, life, and myself come from; what are our origins? I believe God created it all, and science explains it.
